Located in South Molton, North Devon, Quince Honey Farm is a family-run working honey farm established in 1949. Now in its third generation of beekeepers, the farm offers a full day out for the whole family, including your four-legged friends.

Take a behind-the-scenes look at honey production areas and sample some of the delicious honeys. Discover why some honey is runny and some are not, how long honey lasts, and what it can be used for.

🌸 Explore the Nectar Gardens & Nature Trails

Wander through the internationally unique Nectar Gardens, designed specifically for bees, other pollinators, and local wildlife. The garden design is made up of hexagonal plots, resembling honeycomb from a hive, and is the largest garden in the UK specifically designed for local wildlife and open to the public.

🧒 Let the Kids Buzz Around: Play Areas

The Play Hive 🐝

A huge indoor soft play area where kids can enjoy climbing ropes, slides, and soft play fun. There’s also a Baby Bee Play Area for toddlers and babies.  

Outdoor Play Area 🌳

Explore climbing forts, a giant honeybee hive, bridges, slides, and more in the outdoor play area. Picnic tables are available for families to enjoy a meal outdoors.

The award-winning Nectary Restaurant serves up delicious breakfasts, snacks, and lunches every day. It’s the perfect spot to relax and refuel during your visit.

🐶 Dog-Friendly Fun

Quince Honey Farm is dog-friendly, welcoming well-behaved dogs on leads everywhere except the indoor soft Play Hive. Assistance dogs are allowed in all areas. Water bowls and free doggie treats are available to ensure your furry friends enjoy the visit too.

Opening Hours 🕘

The shop, Play Hive, and full attraction are open daily (including Bank Holidays) from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. The Nectary Restaurant is open daily from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
