Braunton & District Museum: Preserving the Heritage of North Devon

Braunton & District Museum, located in the heart of Braunton, Devon, provides visitors with an in-depth look into the rich history and heritage of the village and surrounding areas. Housed in the converted Bakehouse Centre on Caen Street, the museum offers a unique and authentic setting that reflects the historical roots of the community.

The burrows were a crucial training ground for Allied troops in preparation for the Normandy landings.
